Selecta Succulents
Aeonium ‘Ballerina’
Aeonium ‘Ballerina’
Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Aeonium ‘Frosty,’ Aeonium goochiae ‘Ballerina’
Origin: A hybrid most likely resulting from a cross between Aeonium glutinosum and possibly Aeonium canariense.
Description: A shrubby succulent that makes a dense mass of rosettes of greyish/green, slightly hairy leaves with white margins. It grows up to 20cm tall and rosettes are up to 10cm in diameter. There is some variation in the form of the somewhat sticky leaves, and reversion to the unvariegated form occurs occasionally.
Care: They do best in partial sun and require a well draining soil with infrequent watering to flourish. In summer they may go dormant and only require water in very dry conditions. The leaves may also curl to prevent water loss.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
