Selecta Succulents
Aeonium ‘Floresens’
Aeonium ‘Floresens’
Origin: A cultivar of unknown origin, possibly originating from Asia.
Description: A beautiful shrublet with rosettes of variegated leaves at the end of pendent branches. The leaves change colour, from dark green to lime with creamy/yellow margins. They often blush pink at the edges and develop a purple mid stripe when exposed to bright sunlight. Plants grow up to 30cm tall and offsets freely. Colours usually change at the end of winter, with the plant losing almost all variegation, with it returning after a few days exposed to sunlight.
Care: They do best in partial sun and require a well draining soil with infrequent watering to flourish. In summer they may go dormant and only require water in very dry conditions. The leaves may also curl to prevent water loss.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
