Aeonium ‘Serrated Edge’

Origin: The full parentage of this Aeonium is unknown, with Aeonium leucoblepharum suspected as being one. It is most likely a natural cultivar found in our nursery as there is no current literature (pre 2023) describing it.

Description: This is a dense low growing Aeonium that forms large rosettes on short stems and offshoots easily. The rosettes grow to approximately 20cm in diameter, with lance shaped leaves that are dark green with pronounced conical cilia on the margins. They have been noted with a brown/purplish longitudinal mid stripe on the leaf top when stressed.

Care: They do best in partial sun and require a well draining soil with infrequent watering to flourish. In summer they may go dormant and only require water in very dry conditions. The leaves may curl upwards to prevent water loss.  

*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
