Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Flaming Katy, Madagascar Widows Thrill, Kalanchoe globulifera var. coccinea
Origin: A species native to Madagascar.
Description: This is a bushy succulent with branched stems that have fleshy scalloped edge leaves. Leaves are dark green with a reddish/brown edge depending on conditions. The flower of plants on offer are pink.
Care: They look their best in partial sunlight or light shade and prefer bright locations in their growing season. They should be planted in a well draining soil and care should be taken when watering in the hotter seasons when they are mostly dormant. Let the soil dry out in between watering.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
