Aeonium arboreum ‘Zwartkop’

Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Black Rose, Black Tree Aeonium

Origin: A cultivar of Aeonium arboreum. 

Description: This popular cultivar has long bare branches with large rosettes ranging in colours of dark purple to almost black. 
The plant reaches a height of approximately 90cm and the rosettes reach a diameter of approximately 20cm. 

Care: They do best in partial sun and require a well draining soil with infrequent watering to flourish. In summer they may go dormant and only require water in very dry conditions. The leaves may also curl to prevent water loss. 

*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
