Aeonium castello-paivae ‘Harry Mak’
Aeonium castello-paivae ‘Harry Mak’
Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Aeonium castello-paivae f. variegata, Aeonium ‘Suncup’
Origin: A variegated form of Aeonium castello-paivae. The name ‘Harry Mak’ was first published in 2006, therefore has priority over ‘Suncup’ which was published in 2007.
Description: This is a beautifully dense Aeonium shrub that form rosettes on ascending branches. The leaves of the rosettes are fleshy with green and cream or yellow. When exposed to full sun the margins take on a pink hue.
Care: They do best in partial sun and require a well draining soil with infrequent watering to flourish. In summer they may go dormant and only require water in very dry conditions. The leaves may also curl to prevent water loss.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
