Aeonium ‘Madeira Rose’

Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Aeonium ‘Halloween’

Origin: A hybrid that results from a crossing made by Renee O'Connell in March 2012.

Description: A stunning Aeonium that forms concentric rosettes of green leaves that turn a bronze colour in strong sunlight, which gives it an almost two toned appearance. The maroon mid-stripe becomes more pronounced with more light. They produce rings of offsets from an early age, quickly forming an attractive clump. They grow to approximately 45cm tall and 75cm in diameter.

Care: They do best in full sun or partial sun and require a well draining soil with infrequent watering to flourish. In summer they may go dormant and only require water in very dry conditions. The leaves may also curl to prevent water loss. 

*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
