Aeonium ‘Velour’

Origin: A hybrid between Aeonium canariense and Aeonium ‘Zwartkop’

Description: This is a branching Aeonium that reaches a height of approximately 60cm. The rosettes are a deep purple/mauve with a contrasting bright green centre. This Aeonium gets its name due to the surface of the leaf having an almost velvety texture.

Care: They do best in partial sun and require a well draining soil with infrequent watering to flourish. In summer they may go dormant and only require water in very dry conditions. The leaves may also curl to prevent water loss. 

*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
