Aeonium arboreum ‘Atropurpureum’

Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Dark Purple Houseleek, Purple Aeonium, Purple Rose Tree

Origin: A cultivar of Aeonium arboreum.

Description: A much branched succulent that forms striking rosettes of colourful leaves that change colour through the seasons from reddish/green to deep reddish/purple. They grow up to 90cm tall.

Care: They do best in full to partial sun and require a well draining soil with infrequent watering to flourish. In summer they may go dormant and only require water in very dry conditions. The leaves may also curl to prevent water loss.

*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
