Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Bishop’s Cap Cactus, Bishop’s Cap, Echinocactus myriostigma
Origin: A form of Astrophytum myriostigma.
Description: A spineless cactus with a spherical to cylindrical, usually solitary stem with 3 to 8, typically 5 ribs. It is similar to the typical form of Astrophytum myriostigma, but lacks the tiny white hairy scales on the stem. The stem grows up to 1m tall and 10cm in diameter.
Care: They do best in sunny conditions. They should be planted in a well draining soil mix, let the soil dry out in between watering.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
