Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Woolly Senecio, Cocoon Plant, Senecio haworthii
Origin: Native to South Africa.
Description: A compact succulent shrub let with woody stems and thick fleshy leaves, that grows to 25cm tall. Leaves are covered with tightly compacted white hairs, giving it a cocoon appearance. Leaves are upright, cylindrical and tapers towards the tip.
Care: Established plants are extremely drought tolerant, only needing some water during the summer months. Plant in a well draping medium and allow to dry out in between watering.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
