Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Copiapoa calderana
Origin: Native to Chile.
Description: This solitary or slowly clumping cactus grows to 5cm tall and 10cm in diameter. The pale greyish/green stem is depressed spherical or shortly cylindrical with a woolly apex. Black to greyish/black spines grow from woolly areoles which form on the 10 to 17 ribs.
Care: They do best in sunny conditions, but must be protected from excessive and sun in summer. They should be planted in a well draining soil mix, let the soil dry out in between watering.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. Currently planted in 7.5cm square pots.
