Crassula muscosa
Crassula muscosa
Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Watch Chain, Crassula lycopodioides
Origin: Native to South Africa.
Description: A bushy succulent with erect to decumbent branched stems and tiny leaves densely packed around the stem, forming a square mass. It is very variable in size and leaf shape and grows up to 40cm tall. Branches are up to 50cm long, up to 1cm in diameter, and often curve towards the light. The main branches are woody, at the base. Leaves are light green or grey.
Care: They do best in sunny conditions, but care should be taken as the leaves can burn during the hot midday sun in the summer months. They should be planted in a well draining soil mix, let the soil dry out in between watering.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 10cm.
