Selecta Succulents
Crassula rupestris
Crassula rupestris
Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Rosary Vine, Bead Vine, Buttons on a String, Concertina Bush, Kebab Bush
Origin: Native to South Africa.
Description: A succulent shrublet that grows up to 50cm tall, but is variable in size and shape of leaves. Leaves are formed on erect, spreading slender branches that are slightly woody at the base. Leaves are thick, fleshy, oval to lance shaped and are approximately 1.5cm long and wide, ranging in colour from greyish/green with yellow or bright red margins.
Care: They do best in sunny conditions, but care should be taken as the leaves can burn during the hot midday sun in the summer months. They should be planted in a well draining soil mix, let the soil dry out in between watering.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 10cm.
