Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Six-angled Kalanchoe
Origin: Native to South Africa and Zimbabwe.
Description: A sparse succulent shrublet with few erect or decumbent, reddish branches that bear broadly elliptic to ovate, green to deep ruby/red leaves with strongly scalloped margins. It grows up to 1m tall. The leaves are folded lengthwise and more or less recurved, up to 12cm long and 8cm wide.
Care: They look their best in partial sunlight or light shade and prefer bright locations in their growing season. They should be planted in a well draining soil and care should be taken when watering in the hotter seasons when they are mostly dormant. Let the soil dry out in between watering.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
