Crassula arborescens subsp. undulatifolia ’Variegata’
Crassula arborescens subsp. undulatifolia ’Variegata’
Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Ripple Jade
Origin: A form of Crassula arborescens subsp. undulatifolia selected for its variegated foliage. First found in our nursery 4 years ago (2020). I’ve managed to stabilise the variegation and it is now a permanent feature of the plant.
Description: A blueish/green leaved succulent shrub with fleshy branches that bear wavy leaves. Yellow variegation in the leaves are random, with no distinct pattern. Leaves are approximately 5cm long, 2.5cm wide with a thin reddish/purple edge. This Crassula grows up to 2m tall.
Care: They do best in sunny conditions, but care should be taken as the leaves can burn during the hot midday sun in the summer months. They should be planted in a well draining soil mix, let the soil dry out in between watering.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
