Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Bush Plakkie, Globulea cultrata

Origin: Native to South Africa.

Description: A succulent shrub with woody, usually erect branches and fleshy leaves arranged in opposite pairs. It can grow up to 80cm tall. The branches can reach up to 1cm in diameter. The leaves are green, often yellowish green with reddish margins or rarely becoming reddish brown. They are smooth, rarely velvety, inversely lance to knife shaped, measuring up to 10cm long and 3.5cm wide, usually smaller.

Care: They do best in sunny conditions, but care should be taken as the leaves can burn during the hot midday sun in the summer months. They should be planted in a well draining soil mix, let the soil dry out in between watering.

*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
