Crassula rogersii
Crassula rogersii
Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Globulea rogersii, Sedum canescens var. caulescens
Origin: Native to South Africa.
Description: A small branched succulent shrub with erect to decumbent branches with fleshy club shaped leaves. Leaves are covered with short white hairs, giving it a velvety appearance. They remain green in shady conditions, but when exposed to plenty of sunlight, become red tipped. Stems are green, becoming reddish/brown with age. Plants grow to approximately 30cm tall.
Care: They do best in sunny conditions, but care should be taken as the leaves can burn during the hot midday sun in the summer months. They should be planted in a well draining soil mix, let the soil dry out in between watering.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
