Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): String of Watermelons, Gooseberry Plant, Kleinia herreana, Senecio herreanus
Origin: Native to Namibia and South Africa.
Description: A trailing succulent with egg-shaped leaves that are similar but larger and more elongated than that of Curio rowleyanus. The slender stems can grow over 30cm long, and roots at the nodes. Leaves are green, lined with fine dark green or purple stripes and translucent ‘windows.’ When exposed to bright sunlight the purple tones in the plant will deepen.
Care: They do best in partial shade and prefer a well draining soil with infrequent watering.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
