Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Blue Chalksticks, Senecio repens, Senecio serpens 

Origin: Native to South Africa. 

Description: Formerly known as Senecio serpens, this a small succulent shrub with fleshy cylindrical leaves that grow on prostrate stems. It grows up to 20cm tall with a spread of up to 90cm. The stems root at the nodes as they touch the ground. Leaves are powdery blue/grey to blue/green and up to 5cm long.

Care: They do best in sunny conditions, but the hot midday sun should be avoided. They should be planted in a well draining soil mix, let the soil dry out in between watering.

*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
