Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Blue Chalksticks, Blue Fingers, Blue Ice Plant, Blue Straws, Senecio talinoides

Origin: Native to South Africa.

Description: Formerly known as Senecio talinoides, this is a small succulent shrub with narrow blue-green leaves. It grows up to 60cm tall and spreads up to 90cm wide. Leaves are upright, slightly curved upwards, pointed, up to 15cm long, and up to 1cm in diameter. Stems are erect at first, becoming procumbent, and often root at the nodes when they touch the ground.

Care: They do best in sunny conditions, but the hot midday sun should be avoided. They should be planted in a well draining soil mix, let the soil dry out in between watering.
