Mammillaria bocasana

Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Fishhooks, Powder Puff Cactus, Snowball Cactus

Origin: Native to Mexico.

Description: A clumping cactus with globular to cylindrical stems that grow up to 12cm tall and up to 8cm in diameter. The stems are blueish/green with numerous white, hair-like, up to 2cm long radial spines and occasionally hooked reddish/brown, up to 1cm long central spines.

Care: They do best in sunny positions. They can tolerate quite a bit of water during their growing season and should be planted in a well draining soil mixture.  

*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. Currently planted in 7.5cm square pots.
