Mammillaria elongata f. cristata

Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Brain Cactus

Origin: A form of Mammillaria elongata selected for its mutated growth.

Description: A strange small cactus that forms a densely packed cluster of contorted green stems with wooly areoles that bear white to yellow or copper spines. Each specimen has a unique shape and often displays both mutated and normal growth.

Care: They look their best with lots of sunlight, and like most cacti are drought tolerant. Plant in a well draining soil mixture and water infrequently. 

*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
