Euphorbia flanaganii ‘Cristata’
Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Green Coral, Medusa’s Head, Euphorbia flanaganii f. cristata
Origin: A selected cristate form of Euphorbia flanaganii.
Description: A succulent plant either with a crested caudex and normal cylindrical branches or with crested branches and a normal swollen, partially underground stem. The form with crested branches is more common in cultivation. It grows up to 15cm tall and up to 30cm wide. They form a clump of fan-shaped branches resembling wavy green coral.
Care: They don’t handle long periods of drought well, so prefer to be watered at least weekly during hot summer months. They need at least 6 hours of sunlight a day to thrive. Plant in a well draining soil.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
