Sedum ‘Spiral Staircase’

Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Spiral Staircase Stonecrop 

Origin: Probably of a Mexican origin, whether it’s a species or hybrid is unknown.

Description: This is one of many Stonecrop Sedums that are mostly used as a groundcover. The small, fleshy stems are covered with green leaves that spiral, hence the name ‘Spiral Staicase.’ The leaf tips become an orangey colour when exposed to direct sunlight.

Care: This Sedum thrives in full sun or partial shade and should be planted in well draining soil, that should be watered infrequently once the plant is established.

*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
