Selecta Succulents
Pachyphytum compactum
Pachyphytum compactum
Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Little Jewel
Origin: Native to Mexico.
Description: An attractive succulent that forms rosettes of 30 to 80, mostly congested leaves. Stems are often basally branched, usually upright, and up to 10cm tall or up to 40cm long if pendent. Leaves are thick, fleshy, tubular, and pointed at the tip, with angular facets on the upper surface left by neighbouring leaves' pressure. They are matted green or tinged violet when gently stressed.
Care: This plant can tolerate high heat and intense sunlight. They’re not too fussy about soil, as long as it’s well draining. Let the soil dry in between watering.
*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
