Kalanchoe ‘Fang’

Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Kalanchoe x edwardii ’Fang,’ Kalanchoe beharensis ‘Fang’

Origin: A cultivar selected from Kalanchoe x edwardii, a hybrid resulting from a cross between Kalanchoe beharensis and Kalanchoe tomentosa.

Description: This is a bushy succulent with upright, thick stems that grow to 90cm tall and silvery green leaves with a velvety coating. The lower surface of the leaf is textured with tubercles that resemble sharp teeth. The leaves are fleshy with serrated margins highlighted with brown markings and measure up to 10cm long. 

Care: They look their best in partial sunlight or light shade and prefer bright locations in their growing season. They should be planted in a well draining soil and care should be taken when watering in the hotter seasons when they are mostly dormant. Let the soil dry out in between watering.

*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. All plants are approximately the same size as in the photo, for reference, the pots in the photos are 7.5cm.
