Common Name(s)/Synonym(s): Rebutia arenacea

Origin: Native to Bolivia.

Description: A solitary, flattened, globular cactus that grows to 4cm tall and 6cm in diameter. Greenish to brownish stems have about 30 spiralled tuberculate ribs that are covered in minute off-white spines that make the plant appear sandy.

Care: They do best in sunny positions. They should be planted in a deep pot with well draining soil to accommodate the tap root. Water sparingly and keep them completely dry in winter.

*These plants are sold/couriered bare root without the pot and soil. Currently planted in 7.5cm square pots.
